2018-09-26 Apple Picking at Westview Orchards

The annual Annual Picking Tour hosted by Mike and Jeanette Forster was well attended with 17 members driving 8 Model A's and one modern car.  Gala apples were ripe for the picking.  Members purchased one or two small bags and then rode the tractor towed wagon to the orchards to fill the bags.  Upon returning to the cider mill, members were treated to doughnuts, cider and Peach Cherry Berry pie.  Yum!  Of course we still had room in our stomachs so we drove 2 minutes to Art & Jakes Sports Grille for a nice lunch.  Thank you Mike and Jeannete!
